What's your favorite MINI dealership? Any recommendations?

Hello, everyone! I have roughly four or five potential Mini dealerships I could order my Mini from (the closest being Towson, MD), but I was wondering if anyone has recommedations for particular dealerships? This doesn't have to apply to me, specifically ...I'm curious if anyone can give two thumbs up for their personal Mini dealership? Any great dealership experiences to share?

I happily drive the 2 hours to MINI of Grand Rapids (Michigan) for all of my service, warranty, and modding needs. Everyone from the manager to the techs recognize me when I pull up, say hi, and treat Lewis like a king. To make it even better their prices are fair (and sometimes negotiable) and they're really easy to work with.

I'd highly recommend Niello, but I doubt you had a 3000 mile drive in mind!

I purchsed my 2004 MINI at Keeler MINI in Latham NY. I am very happy and have had great service. But I travel to Morristown MINI in NJ for all my accessories and install. You can't beat the prices.

Flow Mini in Winston Salem NC is terrific. Morristown Mini in NJ is good as well. I have also been to Haberstad Mini in Huntington NY and Main Line outside Philly and had a good experience.

I was recommended by 2 different peeps here to go see Holly at Otto's in West Chester...if you're close enough to goto Towson, I'd make the drive to Otto's...Holly is AMAZING! Very down to earth, not pushy at all, keeps you updated on the status of your MINI (and she's very patient with an obsessed future owner like myself)...

You won't regret contacting her - tell her Atomic17 and Ianto (pronounced Yanto) sent you!

Where in Pennsylvania do you live? I live in Harrisburg and have been to Ottos, Main Line, and Towson. I personally did not have very good experiences at Main Line and Ottos. I love Towson but the cost per hour is pretty high.

And misslindsey you have had good experiences at Grand Rapids? I'm in Midland for school and looking for a good Mini dealer out here.

Yeah, I've had great experiences. Wish I could buy another car so I could get it there. I've gotten most of my service done there though, and my Stage I kit. And I stop and say hi whenever I'm in town (I live near Brighton, family is in GR). The service staff is really top notch - Corey (MINI Tech #1) is really knowledgeable and cares about doing it right the first time.

Thanks for the reommendations, everyone! I'll have to check out Otto's Mini in West Chester, since it's almost as close as the one in Towson. I'm so excited...keep those recommendations coming in case someone else is searching for great service!

+1 on the awesomeness of Holly Hopkins @ Otto's. She answered everyone of my gazillion questions with the quickness, and even agreed to dealer install some aftermarket stuff for free!
If your near WC, PA go see Holly, you will be glad you did!

Classic is tops!

Classic MINI in Mentor, Ohio is just wonderful. I bought my 04 Cooper and now my 07 Cooper S. Sales and Service have always been top notch. Back in the early days of the new MINI, Classic was selling more MINI's out of state than locally. They have just built a new dealership and it is just fantastic.

We don't have to share the service isle with Bimmers anymore. Just so neat to see all MINI's. Big, big, !

Bought mine at Keeler near Albany New York as it was the closest. Parts is great. Sales is fair and I've had problems with service. I was warned of this before I bought there. Friends said there was an attitude. You'd think otherwise as they also sell BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar, Land Rover, Honda and Smart. The communication was very poor. Friends have liked Towne in Buffalo, NY and they like Morristown tremendously. Maybe I'll try these places next time. Thanks for asking.

Bought mine from Mini of Pittsburgh. No complaints at all! A wee bit further than Otto's or Towson from Harrisburg, but I have family out there.

MINI of Nashville, baby! But it's a pretty good distance from PA. Cincinnati MINI is pretty great as well. Had my R50 serviced there back when I did my internship in undergrad.

Midwest MINI

Located in IA. Waiting to pull trigger on 09 Pepper White Clubman (our first MINI) because of concerns that closest dealer is 3 hours. Recommendations on dealerships? Kansas City, Omaha, Twin Cities are closest.

Towne MINI of WNY is has probably some of the best customer service I have ever experienced when buying anything.

My dad bought a MINI and I was back in 3 months to do the same, they really are outstanding.

Hi SLlama!! First of all good luck with your cooper search. That is some of the fun of getting one!! I LOVE Holly at Otto's- I am one of the 2 people who directed Atomic17 to her. I have had my car for 3 months and am still in contact with Holly, she doesn't look at us potential buyers as simply a meal ticket, a very honest and down to earth MA
