Seems odd they'd make this "American Icon" car out of a thoroughly British car.

I hope they used strong glue. Not that they'd actually drive it, but imagine it going down the highway, dropping crystals.

Considering that they had to affix all of the crystals by hand, they probably just figured "damn, let's pick a small car - I don't want to be doing this for the rest of my life".
