The other day I ran across a thread where someone talked about having the main wiring harness replaced. There were pics (possibly in his gallery) of the interior of the car completly stripped, showing the harness.

Can someone help me find it? I've been searching for an hour and can't find it--should have bookmarked it.

I actually had that done as part of my H/K --> DPSM conversion project. I have some photos here in my gallery.

I still have my old wiring harness, BTW... sitting in a box. There's nothing wrong with it, except that it's wired for the Harman/Kardon stereo.

 

Thanks Guys. I belong to at least 20 Boards for cars, HD, firearms, corvette, etc and have over 10K posts and I think doing a search here is as difficult as any of the Boards.

Frenchie, what is your business? You seem to know a great deal about the electrical system on these cars.

I wanted to look at the pics to imagine what my Sparky is going through this week. the main harness was damaged when the PS Pump shorted and caught fire. The Honda dealer where I bought it replaced everything but the pump will not work. After 6 weeks they sent it to a MINI dealer in MD to have it looked at and repaired. Fortunately I have an extended Honda waranty and comprehensive insurance that will pay for it.

Edge that harness cost 2907.00. I believe it is the main harness and the PS Harness.

Jus looked. Both of them show the interior stripped, but there still is a set of pics in more detail.

Yes, I know it's very expensive. I forget exactly what I ended up paying for the new one, but I'm hoping that one day, someone will want to buy my old one. I know it's worth something to someone!
