ok so last saturday i was on my way to a meeting. Everything was perfect untill i pulled into a parking lot them BAM...the clutch went out. no warning no nothing just gone. I towed it to a garage to have it fixed...$1585.00 later and the beeter part of a week, and go to pick it up last night after work. I get in the car and the clutch is just wrong. free play until about an inch off the floor, then totaly engages all at once. On my drive around the block i also notice that now the heater doesnt work AT ALL!! (it was easy to figure out because it was - 20 at the time outside ) All of this on the day i was going to get new snow tires for it....guess not now.

WOW, that sucks. I'll save all the "I'm sorry this happened to you." b.s., because I'm sure you don't want to hear it. Hopefully everything goes alright with the car. Did you take it back to the place that fixed it?

 

Had the shop done MINI clutches before? I'm sure a car is a car, but they might have overlooked something.

 

well they seemed to have sorted out the problem and herman is back on the road....hope for a LONG time
