Have had MINI-Fred for a week and did figure out how to turn on the Daytime Running Lights (that was like the 2nd question USAA asked when insuring it) but have a challenge. I work for the Air Force and the gate guards would prefer me to not have them on coming through the gate. My Volvo S40 has DRL but when you turn the light switch to the mid-position, the DRLs go off. Is there a way to program the MINI DRL the same way? Is it something I can do (if someone explains it in word of one syllable or less) or do I have to get a dealer to give it the secret handshake? Appreciate any help or insights.
