Interesting color scheme. I like the outside and the red interior, but the checker pattern on the dash doesn't seem to flow with the rest of the car.

Not for everyone but we went for a sleek, subtle scheme on the outside and went for something fun and different on the inside. If it was mine, I would've done piano black or Soda trim, but this is the wife's MINI and she loves it. Her favorite configuration, as a matter of fact lol.

There are other checker flag patterns, like the stem valve caps and door sill.

Ah, that's where the tie in is. It just looked a little out of place just by itself. The door trim compliments it well. Nice choice

But i agree, piano black would've been my choice as well Still, a great looking MINI!
