Anybody See "Nobel Son" Movie-MINIs

Just seen the movie "Nobel Son" last night, creepy movie. I kinda featured MINIs throughout the film. It was the (remote) heist car, getaway car and the "villan" in the film had a thing about stealing MINIs from church.

Didn't see the movie, but the trailers show the shameless product placement. I keep wondering when movie MINIs are going to be featured for non-criminal activity. Yeah, we all love Charlie Croker and his gang, and we root for them to pull off the heist, but they are crooks after all. (I'm not judging, I'm just saying. ) But maybe that's better than having MINIs in some insipid romcom (blech). Or how about "Marley & Me & My MINI"!

Not to be too far off-topic, but I agree that How Soon is not only one of the Smith's best songs but one of my all-time favorite songs ever. LOVE that opening riff!

Ok, now back on topic: the movie got mixed reviews, so I was wondering what people thought of it. I did consider seeing it just because it has MINIs in it.

I kinda of like "There's A Light that Never Goes Out" but too long for email address, surprisingly no one ever gets meaning of my email address but two Borders employees one in Las Vegas and one in Champaign, IL (were I'm currently at) But back to the subject the movie was alright it was a thriller and blend of Fight Club and Guy Ritchie type cinematography, I went to see it cause of the MINIs of course. Oh and I am bummed out cause a secret donor offered Stephan Patrick Morrissey and Johnny Marr $7 million to perform a one time show as The Smiths at the next Coachella and they both refused... a one time show!!! Thats 3.5 million a piece for a 50 minute set.
