Okay, I can think of three movies that feature Mini's in them.

1) The Italian Job (the original)
2) The Italian Job (the new version)
3) Le Mans (the 1970's Steve Mcqueen film ..features many Porsches and several scenes w/ Mini's racing at Lemans).

There's an Austin MINI in the Japanese mini-series MPD-Psycho.
There is a MCS in the Bourne Conspiracy video game.
There is an MCS Cabrio on Scrubs.
It is also the title of a song by the Japanese pop group, "Pizzicato Five".
And there is MINI Desktop racing for the Wii... and there was a rumor that an '06 MCS would be used in Gran Tourismo 5, but I haven't picked that up yet.

There's a consumer review type show on Fine Living & W networks called "Shopping Bags" with 2 women who do tests. Whenever one of the items is car-related, they always test it on KRISTINA MATISIC's Mini.

 

There was a MINI in one NCIS episode (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000IXSR7W - Look at the Preview... Notice anything wrong in her driving scene?), and one in the movie Hard Candy.

 

My Tivo just found this show for me on FLN airing 10/31/08 Enjoy!

There's a new movie coming up that seems to be using two r53's called Nobel Son. Supposedly, its a dark comedy of sorts. Not sure how much time the MINI's have on screen but here's the trailer for it....

hey, I vaguely remember seeing advertising for something called "Cooper and Hootch" ...or something similar to that. I am not sure if it was a TV show or Movie? I can't seem to find anything on Google, so I must have the name wrong? I remember a black poster w/ a black MC and some David Hasselhoff looking guy by the car. I think the MC had lightening bolts painted on the sides? It looked like a night rider/starsky and hutch kind of movie? Does anyone remember this advertising? Was it for a movie or TV show??? I know I saw something just can't remember! (it was about 3 or 4 years ago). Oh, the advertising I thought was at malls and in magazines. I didn't see anything on TV.
