Since I lost my 2003 R50 with BLIKSEM, I ordered a new plate for its replacement.
DOEMA (Afrikaans spelling of DUMA (Swahili for Cheetah)).
DUMA CUB and DUMA-CUB are my two alternates.
Hopefully, plates will arrive in a month or so.
In the meantime, still running BLIKSEM plates taken off the old car.
Had this plate on my 2008 R56 for about 1.5 years. The confused commonwealth of Kentucky allowed me get this plate and renew it once, but then decided it was too vulgar and made me remove it. This sad photo was the day I had to take it off.
I would like to get my same license plate number on a black and yellow plate. Currently, it is on the regular CA license plate, but I would
like to keep the same numbers and just get it on a black plate. Is this possible?

Yes. There is a DMV form you need to fill out
noting your existing plate number.
In Ky there are more plates than you can dream of and most of them have either a symbol, word or animal which could be included
so for the one with a picture of a horse on the drivers side of the plate you could have **** (horse ****) OR you could have NEIGH or SPUR
for the one showing a wildcat on the passenger side of the plate I am a (or if you must have a number 1 am a = I am a wildcat)
I picked the one from the library which has an open book with the word READ under it on the drivers side of the plate: mine is OFT10 (read often)
Our state doesn't require numbers and you can have 7 spaces with the regular plate but only 5 spaces with the plates that are sponsered by an organization. Ones I came up with for the 5 spaces:
IMOVE
IGRIN
I LOL
JAUNT
CRUZE
2FLYN (to fly in)
IRACE
SHIFT (for those of us with manuals)
IROAM
SITE C (sightsee)
The I can always be used interchangeably with the number 1, just as you can use the number 0 for the letter O
Where you have 7 spaces (can only use 6 digits and a space) I came up with:
2MOTOR
MOTORN
1 4 FUN (one for fun particularly good for a convertible or second car)
SMILES
I SHIFT
I MOTOR
2 FLY N (to fly in)
TOMBOY
ROCKET
I ZOOM
MINI 1
Or first and last initial than a space followed by MINI (so for me would read KC MINI) or put in the name of your state abbreviation (mine would be KY MINI)
I try not to think on this too long as I can spend way too long trying to come up with things!

I try not to think on this too long as I can spend way too long trying to come up with things! And may want to avoid the ones the police might view as an invitation to give a speeding ticket.
