Gps Signal?

LoJack is NOT a GPS signal but rather an RF signal that is triangulated upon with local PD's.

Ask your local PD.

Actually, you would need to contact LoJack to have a system check done, a local PD would not be able to help you. PDs with LoJack tracker receivers only receive the transmitted signal from your unit once it's been activated. It gets activated when your car is entered into NCIC as being stolen. If it's not entered as a stolen vehicle, then your transmitter doesn't transmit anything, thus the PD cannot detect anything.

Thanks for that clarification! I had forgotten that it was LoJack that notifies the PD.

I used to have a Paging System that notified me immediately when the system had been triggered/breached. A better way to go IMHO.
