Motorcycle Waves?

I have had two motorcyclists give me the motorcycle wave in the last week while in my MINI. Couldn't tell if maybe they were on British bikes...

Hell, even though I don't own a Cooper S yet, I flash my lights once in my Ford pickups.

I used the 00 in cOOper S as google eyes, two Harley riders, one woman, one man were behind me at the lights saw it. The woman rider said "it's cute" (read lips -rear view mirror) and they waved!

You were driving something unique, they were driving something unique. And motorcyclists tend to be friendly anyway.

They may own Minis? I've waved at Mini's when I was in my Porsche and vice-versa. ....I temporarily forget what car I am in!

I own a Big Dog Chopper and always wave at minis, and when in my mini I always wave at motorcycles.
It's contagious

We frequently get waves from motorcyclists and several times we've had a motorcycle pass us and give us a thumbs-up.

My Harley is my only vehicle until my MINI arrives. I've been waving at you folks since the beginning of July! Occasionally I even get a nice smile in return. Though, sometimes drivers look rather apprehensive as I go by them...wonder why? Too much of that silly Harley stereotype (and the idiots who actually fulfill it) running around, I think.

Oh, and when I'm not on my bike and I see MINIs rolling around, I tend to blurt out, in a rather chipper and child-like voice, "MINI!!" My friends think it's kinda cute.

Wandrur,

I'm with you on this. I only own a motorcycle right now so it is my only means of getting around. I've waved at a few MINI's but have yet to get anything back. Usually always get waves from other bikers, but I'm sure you do too!

When I first heard about MINI drivers waving to eachother I thought "Hey, something I'm already used to doing." I've been driving my bike for a few years now without a car, so I'm really looking forward to my MINI.

Mike
