Supposed Gas Increase Now...
Oddly enough, I've been seeing the H2s return from their front yard gravesites now that gas is well below 4$/gal. So ya, we got cheap gas, but now we gotta deal with these jerks again.
What other industry can have a 50% change in product revenue and still get beat-up? Where are the cries for windfall-unprofitable taxes? If oil companies do indeed set the price of oil as so many have suggested and hilariously believe, why would they lower them by half? Damn oil companies, just when we were getting use to hating them so, they turn around and do something nice?
I think corn farmers are due for a windfall profits tax. How much has their profits gone up with all this ethanol BS? Oh and gold miners deserve a windfall profits tax since people are flocking to gold and boosting prices. And what about Walmart? Are they not making a windfall profit since people want low, low prices?
Does anyone remember the 1980's & 90's? Thats when the oil companies had layoffs of over 50% due to $8 oil. No thoughts of helping a strategic industry during that time if I recall correctly.
