Yes, I think it would allow more true light, brighter, then the tint. I'm running one side with the perf and one side OEM and when you hit the brakes it's hard to see the perf. Once I get the color right I'll take some pics before I cover both.

after more testing today, we have decided that offering solid color headlight or tail light perf is not going to work. I don't think we can hit the color mark every time and with it right next to the paint ANY Diff would be very easy to see and I see many of them being returned, so why start a problem where I don't need one. I did test white and black, but didn't care for the look. If you wanted to try it check with a local sign shop for the best color matching and most of them will have scarps of white or black to try DIY stuff.
