I'm Out - Thanks!!!

My prized 2003 MCS is now living 600 miles away with a new enthusiastic owner. Life changes mandated 4 doors. Enter the solution; a 2009 GTI.

I want to thank everyone for making this the most valuable site I've seen in any of my enthusiast passions. Definately for insights on my MINI. You've provided insights, solutions, parts, opinions saving me thousands of dollars learning the hard way. Your insights and experiences allowed me to make the best decisions for me regarding modifications. When I needed parts - new or used, you were there. Seemingly silly questions were addressed without judgement. Vendors were great - members were great.

I'm probably older than many of you (50). While I'm proud to say I'm very immature for my age, I also appreciate the respect members at this site show for each other. You'll appreciate it more when you spend time on sites for other enthusiast cars - my new GTI included.

Enough about me. I really just wanted to thank everyone. My MINI experience will always be among the best I've had with any of my previous 15 cars. From the day I special ordered my car, this has been ground zero for the best information and fun I've had without actually driving my MINI.

Motor on!

Congrats on the new VW...Hope you'll be very happy with it. And who knows, you might be back with a MINI someday. Either way, swing in and say Hey once in a while!!!

After reading the thread title, I thought this was a Clay Aiken thread.
