I hope that dealer rots in he!! and those cars sit on his lot until the 'market adjustment' drops to zero. I can't stomach dealers that do this and can't believe people pay over MSRP.

DMLV is only charging MSRP (plus an inflated "doc fee" but don't they all) on ordered cars, at least for JustaClubman's, and appear to be giving over all their production slots to anyone who wants to order a car. Not to defend car dealers or anything, but I can sorta understand why a dealer might like to have something on their lot for folks to look at but probably not buy for a while - for example, the new model-year JCW. The JCW strikes me a specialty car, but then again, I'm not the target market for it, so my impression is probably not really valid.
If you ask me, the real crime is MINI markup on options and the crack-addiction that is the MINIUSA configurator.
