Overseas/International MINI

I have had '03 R50 for about 4 years now, and i have been curious about what might make mine diferent. I bought it from a lady who lived in germany there for this mini has been on the German autobahn

But i am curious as to how i can identify my car as one that is from overseas. What makes it different? Any help would be great.

Do you know if your car is a US-market car, purchased in Germany like abuzavi's? Or is it a German-market car that was imported to the US?

I'm slowly working on getting my car a little more like the Euro-spec cars. I recently added Euro-spec '05+ Xenons on my car. HUGE difference in visibility over my original '04 US Xenons.

You might want to post your VIN here:
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...02#post2404602

CarterMD has access to MINI's aftersales portal system and can pull up some info on your car. You might be able to figure out some things with the information he so nicely pulls up for us.

Do you have Xenon lights on your '03? If you've got Xenon lights, it's simply a plug-n-play ordeal to swap to the facelift '05-'06 lights (USA or Euro).
