I've found out I can't make 60 in second gear in either MINI, that makes getting a decent 0-60 time difficult. I can't seem to change gear in less than 1 sec (that's what a real data system told me when I had one to play with). Its giving me 10.45 sec 0-60 in the Cooper, that's like the rated 8.5 sec plus my 2 slow shifts.
My calculations tell me that the standard 195/55R16 times should manage just over 60 mph (60.6 in the mC, 60.9 in the MCS) at redline in second, but I've put 205/50R16s which are slightly smaller diamter and top out at 59.6 and 59.9 in 2nd. If I redline the Cooper-S it says I hit 57.5mph.
I'm a little suspicious of the skid pan results its giving me a max of just over 1g lateral and braking. I'd be surprised to break 1g.

The earlier gear ratios could get to 60 in 2nd. My old issue of Automobile lists the speed in gears as 42mph in first, 66mph in second, 88 in 3rd, 107 in 4th, 130 in 5th, and 136 in 6th.
Those numbers are pretty much true...

Looks interesting.
Did you guys get the problems sorted? Which iPhone do you have?
Yeah, almost makes me sorry I returned my iPhone yesterday. No removable battery, no card slot, no keyboard, no cut and paste, no turn-by-turn, no spell check, no auto-focus on the camera, no video recording, etc.... Other than the few minor things it's missing, I loved it. lol

I will wait 30 days and see how much progress Apple makes towards catching up with the capabilities of the new smart phones from other manufacturers such as BlackBerry, Nokia and HTC, all of whom will have full-featured phones. I did like the iPhone, there were just toooooo many things it didn't do.
Mine still will not calibrate and although I have sent a note to tech support no one has bothered to reply. I have an original 16GB iPhone updated with the latest software.
This app is awesome, aside from a few quirks and inconsistencies which I'm sure will get ironed out shortly.
For those of you who posted screenshots with results from your iPhones, how did you manage to do that?!
Thanks for any tips.

The graphs are better, but that's it. Dynolicious could do with better graphs.
Hold down the home button and press the lock botton to take a screenshot.

Yes....This is exactly what you think it is!!! An App for the iPhone which simulate a dyno! The app uses an excelerometer (sp) and provides instant feedback for your car....0-60 times, g-forces, torque, HP, ect.....
