I've seen one post and searched for others; can probably resolve this with a call to my MA, but thought this question might be of interest to others as well.

I ordered my MINI in June; was told it would be an August build. I had some features on it that aren't available in the '09s. I'm assuming just because MINI has the '09 configurator up that my '08 will still be built as ordered. I know 'assume' can be interpreted a couple different ways. Will my '08 be an '08?

Does anyone know the answer to my question?

I would assume since you ordered in June, you are going on an 08 allotment the dealer has.

 

I ordered today - dealer has 2008 allotments still so it is being filled as an '08

 

I ordered on July 5th. I talked to my MA today because I was hoping to get a production number but instead I was told that I am now slated for an 09 build. They originally told me my car would be in the second week of September...now they are saying the last week of October.

 

Soo...if I got a production number (which I did when I ordered), then it's definitely going to be an '08?

I will call my MA tomorrow, just a little nervous tonight...

 

I called my MA today because I am getting ready to order a Mini and he said that if I order this week or probably next it will be an '08; they have not been allotted '09s yet.
