Hey fellow NAMers!

So as the title says I am doing a documentary about the most amazing cars out there....MINI COOPERS!!

I am currently a senior TV production major at Cali State Northridge. This is our final project for my summer school class. This is still in the pre-production stage so we are not 100% sure if we are going to do this idea. We have to get it approved by the teacher and that is where you wonderful people come in!

So the documentary you might be wondering hmm what about the Mini are they going to do it on. My group was thinking to talk about the large demographic Mini brings in, the "culture" of Mini and how freakin awesome your car is!

I need my NAM friends to let me know if they would be interested to be a part of this. We will most likely be filming the week of June 23th. If you are available anytime that week let me know. Second I need some personal information from you like name, age, and phone. Third give me some awesome pictures of your car and what makes it different. You can just PM me this information. I need this information to show my teacher that we have people.

It would be helpful if you lived in the So Cal area and close the to the valley.

Also since you will be on camera you will be signing release forms letting us use your wonderful face and car.

Since we are using Mini are a brand I was wondering if anyone could give me a corporate number to Mini USA so I can see if we can use the brand. This would be so helpful if we got it because then I could make this idea of mine become a reality!

On Sunday, June 22 there is a BMWCCA autocross at California Speedway. Not close to the valley but might be a way to see one of the fun things that us MINI owners like to spend our weekends doing.

Oh there is also a car show for SCMM this weekend--would also be a great opportunity to talk to a bunch of MINI owners....would contact the president, Lex.

 

I'm sad I'm too far away to participate....but you know...If you want to take in a bigger demographic, and you can get in touch with corporate Mini, I wonder if they'd be willing to fund your travel if you could arrange everything?

Sorry xuhohx I dont think Mini would fund us. We are going to have a hard enough time trying to get the rights to use the MINI brand. Plus our class is almost over so we dont have a lot of time to do this thing!

I always see them but those are in the student parking lot. I have seen a PW in the faculty lot over by B2 I think it is.
