Bosch Evolution wiper blades

Just a heads-up - Amazon has these on sale w/ a mail-in rebate. I'm guessing the rebate isn't exclusive to Amazon but not sure.

What makes them better than the free ones from MINI?

It's not just the rubber blade but the actual wiper arm design that allows for more uniform pressure. I have the Valeo Ultimates which seem to have the same design. They work much better than the oem wiper arms. Pretty much no streaking. There is a coverage issue on a few inches of the passenger side though due to the curvature of the windshield (see video), but the amazingly streak free wipe (that has held up though winter) is well worth it. With the oem ones, I used to be afraid to use the wipers to clean my dirty windows for fear of streaks.

bought some a while ago for my girlfriend's car..i should have bought some for myself also. you can do up to 2 rebates. so buying 4 wiper blades and gettin 2 free. payin only 16 for two wiper blades. pretty good deal.

but also...as some of you may know..make sure you receive them before the 31st..if not then you wont be eligible for the rebate.

oh..and if you guys didnt notice...bosch evolutions arent even on bosch's website..so buyer beware?
still an awesome price..might as well try them out

I did buy these yesterday after reading some forum posts on fatwallet.com, they said these are similar to what you'll find on higher-end cars nowadays.

Though my rebate form does say for blades "purchased online at www.amazon.com" so take care before grabbing these at your local Autozone.

And I don't get free Mini wiper blades anymore because when mine started streaking 3 months after I got the car I tossed them (blades and all) and got replacements at the local auto store. Mini just recently told me, "Oh, we only replace the blade inserts for free, you would have to buy the blades from us again." Wanna guess how much a pair of wiper blades costs from the Mini dealership? Hint: More than a tank of gas! (Almost two tanks, actually...) $$

Yeah, they charged me $30 to replace the rubber on all three blades, the friggin' rubber!!!!! The guy should have told me beforehand that it was that pricey. When Mini called me for a review I told him to get lost and refused to rate the guy. I should have given him a 3. Funniest part is when I told the phone guy not to call me back and he goes, "Can I ask you one quick question then?" and I reply, "No, you may not!" He laughed at that.

Best blades I ever used

I ran these blades for two years in N.E. Ohio and loved them. Snow, sleet, ice, rain and wear from the sun and they worked great until the end. The uniform pressure they place across the windshield and the quality of the rubber is top notch. Great investment. Bought another set last month. The rebate is everywhere, even Autozone.

I got the rainex ones I think they are similar.
I threw the package away without looking at them really.
I (big mistake) just told the person
"I'm tired of my wipers I want something that works
I don't care if it is expensive".
I don't remember how much they were thirty something plus tax
I forget I was getting other stuff that day, my wife's car was broken,
I needed to pass inspection, it was a bad day.

They are supposed to apply equal pressure across the blade
and be oh so great.

They stink. I hate them. They sit up super high and actually
I find them very distracting for my view.
I should add they are on my honda.

I threw the other arms away too.
So now i've got to hunt up 20 year old wiper arms.
(smashes self in face, hard)
