Very nice. The checker floor is sweet.
Good thing you took pics. It won't ever be that clean again.

I like it, but in Michigan the snow and salt would quickly turn that floor grey...

You should have chosen large marble tiles; high gloss showroom style.

Awesome job. I'm about to start a very similar project in my garage. Hope you don't mind if I steal some of your ideas.

Wow very impressive . What type of interlocking tiles are those. Where did you get them ?
I was thinking of painting epoxy on my garage floor. But if the cost is not too high , I lilke the idea of those interlocking tiles.
Where can I buy them ?

I wish I could use those tiles in my garage, but the builders put some sort of lip near the door for water drainage and the tiles won't sit flat

There are many different types of interlocking tiles. I couldn't afford to go with the premium vinyl ones that are a bit more flexible and softer to walk on.
The premium ones can cost upwards of $5 per square foot. I think these were around $1.80 per square foot (

Very nice! I will be starting my garage project here soon as well. Still gathering ideas since we just moved in.
Did you use any of the edging or just cut the tiles to fit the baseboards?

you should put down a power strip on the workbench and get rid of that unsightly dangling mess
Tripp-Lite makes nice ones....$40 for a 48" 12 outlet strip

Nah. We get snow and ice here in Maryland, too, and once I sweep and mop my Race Deck floor, it looks as good as new.
I don't have white, but my red, black and grey shows the salt and other chemicals just as much, or more, as white.
