Question For MINI with USB/Ipod

For those of your choose the USB/Ipod option, did you MINI come with the cable from the USB port to iPod? I am picking up mine tomorrow and would like to know do I need to bring my own cable?

Thanks

I ordered mine with the convenience package, where the usb/aux jack is in the center console, and mine came with the wire.

The early cars with the BT/iPod option did not include a cable. Ever car from about a month or so ago will come with the cable, so you'll be all set.

It should definitely come with a cable. You need a special cable that plugs into both the usb port and the aux port. Make sure you have it before you drive off the lot. Mine was in the boot.

Yes, it came with an iPod specific cable. I thought the cable was going to be more of a generic MP3 player cable but was mistaken. The cable is made specifically for the iPod (which I don't have). I use the USB port and a 16GB flash drive...at least until my current MP3 player gives out, then I'll probably buy an iPod.

Mine didn't come with anything, but I just have the jack in the glove box - I have to use a cable with the iPod that I bought for about $20. And I don't like how it works - the sound is way too quiet and I have to crank up the radio to hear it.

I just picked my MINI up yesterday and it came with the cable. My MA didn't say anything about it, but I found it in the glove box when I got home.

I bought mine last weekend, and it has the Bluetooth + ipod set up. My MA was helping me sync my iphone with the Bluetooth and I asked about the cord, and she pulled it out of the glovebox, still wrapped in plastic. Haven't had any trouble with volume or connection, and despite what my MA told me, I can use my iphone both for music through the radio and for phone calls through the Bluetooth without having to switch anything around. And it charges my phone!

Mine came with the cable and my MA "installed" it for me. Then hooked up my iPod to show me how it worked through the radio.

Where can I get an extra cable similar to that?
