come on guys...it's more than that. the stock TPS tuning leaves a lot to be desired. Anybody notice the delay from when you push the pedal to when you actually go faster? A proper TPS remap will sharpen throttle response. Heck, BMW does this for the M cars....daily driving TPS map and a 'sport' mode for quicker throttle tip in.

don't be so quick to make fun...it's a proven mod. the price for this product though...that's up to you. An RMW tune is the same money, adds power and also can do a TPS remap for you. The trick is catching Jan when he's in town

Exactly. Plus, if someone gets it and chooses a different path latter, they can sell this thingy. Recoup some cost.

This sounds like something similar to a motorcycle with a 1/6" turn throttle. It's common for racers to replace the stock throttle tube on the handle bar with one that will go to "wide open" in only 1/6" of a turn. Instead of having to twist it the full turn (or whatever the stock turn is).

If this is indeed something like that, the sport button seems to do the same thing as this device. Maybe this device provides more throttle with less input compared to the sport setting.

I don't see it taking out clutches any sooner once the driver is use to it.

Ok-Took the plunge-got the “ SprintBooster” Installed it on Friday evening. Got home from work and it must have been like a kid that got his “Ovaltine Secret Decoder”.

Installed it in Minutes- and I have to say it is “Crazy”. Yes it makes the throttle more sensitive, but more than that, it seems to make the car more fun to drive.

In another post someone compares it to a drivers preference, a short throw shifter doesn’t make the car faster either, but some drivers prefer them. There are many other mods that can also be done to make the Driver feel like the car is faster or performs better.

When I purchased my Mini it had many mods already done to it. For example, JCW Pulley, Chip, CAI, Throttle body, Alta short throw, Milltek exhaust, Eibach Pro Springs.

I could not compare it to a stock S.

The way I look at it, I have had much more than this on a Craps table at any given time, why not give it a try?
I could not be happier – I blew two sport bikes away today! Two more kills for the side of my MCS. They looked just as surprised!
