General MINI TalkShared experiences, motoring minutes, and other general MINI-related discussion that applies to all MINIs, regardless of model, year or trim.
I started reading this and got excited thinking..."Ooh ME, ME!" and then I saw my name LOL! I guess we're a rare breed
I know there are a couple of girls on another forum that enjoying modding their Minis so I know we're not the only ones out there!
Speaking of mods, I'm waiting on my front mount intercooler and ECU chip now and I've started doing some interior mods too. Modding is a lot of fun!
Celia

Well mine's not a Big Mini but she's still a Mini. And I'm a girl so I guess I count. All mine has done is bonnet stripes though. Not much you can do with a classic unfortunately.

Au contraire! There is a TON you can do to a classic Mini in the way of performance and handling mods. Mini Mania sells all kinds of stuff.
I agree 100% on that one! All those ladies have smokin' Minis but I especially LOVE Stoo's ride! The paint job is just amazing.
+1. you know i realize more and more every day that alot of women (thank god its not all) have no idea what im talking about when i talk about modding my mini. they are like "why the heck would you want to do that" or "why spend money on that kind of 'stuff'" or the best one is "isnt that a guy thing". i get like almost offended when they say this i race my mini at a local drag strip here every once in a while (usually when i get new mods) and its sad that like 99% of the people are guys!!!! we need to get more women to realize these things arent just meant for guys.
Liz, if you go to an autocross, you'll find more women. They give no quarter.
oh i know. i just need to find myself one down here in Miami or at least in this area. as soon as i finish learning how to drive my other mini( our 07 MCSm that my husband drives aka lxjose9xl) ill convince him to let me take it. mine is automatic so not sure how fun that would be. its definately something i want to do though.

Here's the link to the local SCCA region for Miami. Their site seems to be lacking information, so you will probably have to call or email some of the people listed to get autocross information.
