WTF?! I didnt even break 100fwhp!!!

I had my car dynod today and It didn't even break 100fwhp and had only 70fwtq... I know it was on a dyno dynamics and it reads lower but for crying out loud I have a header back exhaust, dinan intake, alta top mount intercooler, alta 15% pully, craven speed crank pully and Giacu tune... What gives??? any ideas? I hooked up a boost gauge and it pegged it at 12psi easily, it might be my intercooler as it might have a hole in it... it makes full torque @ 3400rpm and seems to die out... Please give me some ideas!

what were your torque #'s? maybe posting the dyno chart to properly see where it went wrong

You should find out how the dynamometer is calibrated. Furthermore, did you get a baseline dyno before your modifications? Dyno numbers are often meaningless as standalone numbers, but rather, are far more informative when you can track the difference between pre-mod and post-mod. Some dyno operators just calibrate them very low for unknown reasons.

e.g. If you were to dyno before your modifications and only pulled 70whp and 40wtq, then you wouldn't feel nearly as bad.

Unless your car is seriously broken (and I doubt that), the fault lies in the dyno and its calibration.

+1
You should have far more than that at stock, let alone w/ mods.

I have to agree with the Dyno probably being the culprit. I had mine Dyno'd before my mods and I pulled 141whp.

I switched my intercooler back to stock to see if it would help... I drove around for like 10 min and then came home and it was fine, It felt like the power was more linear... I started the car back up an hour later and after 1 min of driving, the car started to act weird... It was revving and dropping idle when I had it in neutral or i stopped pressing the gas, This morning it sounded like it was seriously misfiring and idled low along with a big rev to 3500 rpm... what the helll????

sounds like you did a lot to your car but I wonder when was the last time you gave a little love to your ECU? how many mods have you done since your last ECU? and is your ECU able to take advantage of everything you put in to your car? I only ask this if the Dyno is not calibarated. if it is then I would look into it a little more.

With that info, it sounds like you have some serious Car issues. The Dyno may have been right..

I am guessing his problems have nothing to do with whether or not the dyno was calibrated. I suspect the problem lies with the GIAC. If it's possible, take the GIAC out of the loop and diagnose the problem from there. I had similar issues while testing the Hydra stand alone ecu. No Hydra, no problems. Also, check your ecu connections to be sure they are nice and tight.

Found the vaacume leak... My intercooler coupler was crimped underneath, just fixed that problem... I think an upgraded ecu is in order though and a tune for race gas too... what software would you guys recommend?
