Whats going to happen?!?!

I was driving to work today and as I was merging onto the high way and shifting to 4th gear, as I was shifting, I don't think I pushed the clutch all the way down and the gears made a really bad grinding noise and I instantly threw it back to neutral and re shifted to 4th gear. Is it going to destroy my transmission?

One time (or a few times) bad shift isn't going to hurt your transmission. If you constantly were grinding your gears you would have a problem but not from an occasional bad shift.

Nah, it happens. Don't make it a habit, and just push the clutch in quick when it happens and it won't be an issue. Worst case you'll destroy the syncros and not be able to get/keep it in gear. They're made to be pretty tough though.
