I'm thinking of gettimg an extended warranty on my 06 MCS.

Anyone have good or bad experiences with any particular providers?

In my experience it rarely works out well for the buyer.

 

What about the extended warranty available through MINI--not the "holey" after market types? I, too, have had the question, especially since modern cars have such complex and expensive systems.

 

I am considering one, too. I've seen people here on NAM say they've paid as little as $1200 for them up to $3000. I got a quote a year or so back (I cannot remember what the name of the company was) and it was ~$2500.

I'm either going to buy one, or trade my baby in on a new MINI.
