Question RE JCW and Mike Cooper

Ok, I know that the R53 JCW tuning kit, and ancillaries such as suspension, etc, were purported to be designed "In-house" at the John Cooper garages, with Mike Cooper taking over after the death of his father, and continuing on with the JCW business. After BMW took over JCW in 2007, how much, if at all, is Mike Cooper involved with the actual development of the current JCW offerings?

From the R53 on BMW has been involved in developing JCW components. To my knowledge the R50 JCW kit that came out in late 2001 was an in house project for John Cooper Motorsports which is no longer in existence.

However they've become much more involved since 2005.

In what way? ( Now that would be an idea for your next MF article, "What ever happened to Mike?")
