MINIs In The Snow

Anyone else notice MINI's in National newscasts lately? Last week during the big snow storm in the DC area, a camera car was following a Yellow MINI , and then this morning while reporting on the high winds and snow in Northern Indiana last night, a Red/White MINI was shown along side of the road - unfortunately it was a bit banged up I hope no one was seriously hurt.

I would suggest you park it when you are unsure of others on the road!

My 07 MCS gets around just fine in the snow. Compared to most of the non 4WD vehicles I've driven it does extremely well. Because it sits rather low I'm concerned about the deep stuff, but with the traction & stability control and the LSD it keeps on going when the other cars slip and slide. We've had snow on the ground since Thanksgiving and so far I've been very happy. Certainly my previous vehicle, a 4wd Blazer, did a bit better but the Mini is a lot better than any other fwd car I've driven and a LOT better than my old Volvo 244.
