MINI mouse pointers

Here are some MINI pointers that I made. Couldn't figure out how to attach a ZIP file so you'll have to remove the ".doc" extension. Then unzip and put into Windows\cursors folder.

MINI pointers.zip.doc

Here are the pointers on another server. You do not have to rename these files, just save and unzip them.
I'll be adding new cursors occasionally.

Windows Cursors
Mac Cursors

Very cool. (Ok, so it'd be cooler if it was IB/W w/sunroof)
Ok, so am I pathetic that I didn't even realize you could change your cursor?

On PC, right click on the link, then when it says "save target as", remove the .doc and save it to the desired folder.
(if you just double click, you get an unintelligible Word doc.)

Umm, I'm "saving Target as" (mini pointers.zip) but it keeps making it a .doc file...

** Nevermind...I erased the space between "Mini" and "pointers" and it saved it as a zip...**

Here's as close to IB as I can get. My wife says I only know about 4 colors.
Same thing as before about removing ".doc" extension. Don't know why zip or .ani (animated cursors) files aren't allowed.

ok so I am a middle aged techno flunky. My son gave me an IPOD for my birthday and I have yet to figure out how to transfer my downloaded music. sooo I removed the.doc but I still can not follow how to get the zip file into the cursor folder. Soon I will need assistance with my diapers but, that is a different forum.

Once you have turned it back into a zip file use either Winzip or Windows to extract to the cursor directory under the Windows folder (C:\WINDOWS\Cursors). You are using Windows, right? I haven't tried it on my Mac. Then go to Control Panel and open up the Mouse options. There should be a tab called pointers. The cursors I made are for "Normal Select", "Working Background" and "Busy".

Alright, so I figured out that I needed to type in "minipointers.zip", and they are on my desktop as I speak, but what program do I need for them to become actual cursors?

Thanks Chubbs...I like!

CR is my second favorite color, so now I can live vicariously through my cursor as I motor it around the screen.

Just use Windows Control Panel. The .ani files don't have to go in the Cursor folder but it keeps them handy. Once you have changed the pointers you can save them as a MINI scheme.

BMWBOY and ellistotle I made some new ones for your cars. Here is a new zip.doc file

Are you saving the file, then changing the extension? On some PC's you may have to change the file type options in Windows Explorer to not hide extensions for know file types.

Does anyone know how I can post a straight ZIP file?

So since PW would have been my second choice and Shadowfax is one of my favorite fictional horses I made a cursor for you. PW might be hard to see on some backgrounds though.
