Is there an easy way for us mac users to modify our cursors too? Especially now that there are topless Minis in the file....

Thanks!

I've also got a Mac sitting next to my PC's, but I don't use it as much as I should. I kinda looked a changing cursors, but that was as far as I got. I'll check into this weekend, been busy putting up Christmas lights to support my local electric company.

So, I've been playing with my Mac and it seems the only way to change the pointers is to use second party software. I tried Mighty Mouse ($10) http://unsanity.com/haxies/mightymouse and it works. Now all I have to do is convert the cursors to the format Mighty Mouse uses.

Added a few more pointers

Added 2 Classic profiles (MY & CR), SB Checkmate profile and a SB U Stripe (Max).

It's funny I just started making the 1 for Chubby and now there's 21 in that zip file, but I know with 10 bazillion different You-ifications the file could get HUGE.

Same as previous files: Remove the ".doc" extension.

EDIT: Changed the Checkmate to see side panel better.

CC, I just installed you're latest collection and I immediately switched to the PW convertible (for obvious reasons). It's awesome . Thanks again for taking the time to create and share.

What software are you making these in? I'd like to play with the the PW color and see if by trying to match the actual color (a little more off white or beige) if it would help the cursor on screens with white background.

I use PaintShop Pro and Animation Shop, from JASC/Corel. Let me know if you any problems. I noticed that when I was making them that the PW blended in with some screens.

MiniDaMoocher: I made a PW that has more beige in it (I think, my wife says I only know about 4 colors).

Mark
Mark: There was a BRG in there somewhere but it had a single stripe down the bonnet. Heres one with out the stripe.

Just remove the ".doc" extension and keep the ".ani" one.

I'm still playing with the Mac ones for all the Apple users (me included).

So for the Mac users, here are a few cursor themes. The only problem is that you have to use Mighty Mouse to load them. It worked on the trial version but I'm not sure of the limitations (I couldn't import was one). The program was 10 bucks so I just bought it so that I could import the Windows cursors.

Really nice job . I have noticed that you have improved as you've begun this effort.

I went online and found a shareware editor called Realworld Cursor Editor. Seems to work well and I was able to muttle my way through. I modified the color and scaled the cursor up in size a bit. I always set my resolution pretty high, so bigger is usually better for me. Check it out and let me know what you think.

I like it. I like the way you made the pointer, it lets the car be bigger.

No problem. I figured I'd do a profile for the classics since from the top at 32x32 resolution it'd be hard to tell the difference.

Here's a CR MCSC with black stripes.

When you downloaded the file did it download as "attachment.php"? On my Mac I had to download the file as "attachment.php" then opened it up with TextEdit and did a "Save as" "Maccursors.zip". It asked me if I wanted to use the extension of .txt or .zip, choose .zip and it should work. Try to download the file again, I also added a Wallace in there (He has an X on the roof, right?). After you unzip it on your Mac if you double click the "MINI-Wallace.MightyMouse" file it should open up MightyMouse.

No problem, glad it worked.

Has anyone been having problems downloading the files? I noticed that when I download the files now, instead of the file name it is coming as "attachment.doc".

I gonna try to put them in a shared briefcase on Yahoo and link to them. We'll see if that works.

Put them on a different server. Yahoo didn't work.
Windows Cursors
Mac Cursors

Can someone please let me know if that works? I don't know if I have the share properties set right.

I've had no problems with any of your files, other than having to rename them as you specified. Your link did not work when I tried it. I got this: Page-not-found

Yeah, I just wanted to make it a little simpler and just upload the files and not have to mess around with the re-naming game.

I think the links above work. (Maybe)
