For the future

We currently have a 2005 Cooper that serves as my wife's daily driver. However, since our Cooper has just rolled of 50,000 miles I have been bitten by the upgrade bug. We recently tested out a new S model on our last visit to the dealership and love the obvious performance increase. But here is the question. What other cars would you consider? Keep in mind this car will be initially used by my wife but will then be promoted to serve as my play car. So a mix of comfort, cool and performance potential is desired.

Honestly, I can't think of another car that I can fill with tons of stuff at Costco and Home Depot and then take it to the track or mountains and have a blast like I can with a MINI.

If I haven't already, welcome to NAM. We've got a great bunch of MINI friends here in Birmingham
