Hello from a newbie owner in Texas.
Well as I posted in the first gear forum.. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=119897
I have been scouring this very nice web site for info on the mini my wife was contemplating on purhasing. After all the useful info your forum provided and two days of "testing" it, we did it. It's a done deal. Here she is. It is an 06 MCS with 22k miles. I still don't have a complete listing of all the options on it but it appears to be freaking loaded.
Real leather, r90 anthracite wheels, LSD, aero kit, blah blah blah..... The more and more I dug info on it the more I couldn't pass up the $17,500 deal we had worked out. I'm stoked.

Very nice! You're probably already looking for a 2nd one, right?
Looking at the pictures, it looks like it will almost fit in the back of my truck.
Thanks for the props.
Down on the coast.... in Beaumont. About 20 minutes from the beach to the south and 20 minutes west of Louisiana. Houston is an hour or so west of us. The roads here aren't near as nice to zip around on as the one's near you. Another reason to take road trips.

Probably a good thing since I-10 was brutal back then. They have just about gotten it repaved all the way across the state now and it doesn't feel like a buckboard wagon for 4 hours anymore. And thanks to everyone for the welcome.
