One of my buddies at work has been a father for a little over a year. He's 21 and his GF is 18. At the time, it was 20 and 17. I gave them a little crap saying they should name it Financial Burden the First. But, he got a raise and a promotion within 3 months of each other so he makes pretty good crack money now for what he does.

They really care about each other. It is a genuine relationship, not a "Hey, I'm sticking it to a 17 yo" kind of thing. He wants to pop the question sometime but he dosen't have that kind of money right now. He does want to make it official and does take good care her and vice versa. But, yeah, we told her when she turned 18 we can't call him Captain Statutory anymore.
