...How long does a mini stay at the distribution center? Mine has been there a week this past Sunday -- how long until its at my dealership?

It varies depending on how many vehicles are at the VDC, how many vehicles are destined for your dealer, and timing of the scheduling of a transport to your dealer. It also depends on when your car arrived at the the VDC - if it got there on Friday afternoon, it's going to sit through the weekend with no progress. Normal time is probably 3-7 days. Call your MA for a status.

How long at the distribution center?

My Mini arrived at the distribution center on the west coast last night. If it takes about 3 days to work on it, that would mean it's ready to go on Friday, if I'm lucky. Do they truck them on the weekends? Mine will be going to Mt. View.

Thanks,
Fluter2ter

I can only talk from my own experience, I ordered one clubman back in may and once it got to VDC it was held there for two weeks and all this time dealer was telling me that it is waiting for ship but from VDC reports it turned out to be damaged and once it arrived it had bunch of problems, I re ordered the second one and once it got to VDC it only staid there for one day.

I am glad I adopted my MINI instead of ordering her...the tracking and waiting would have killed me!

Hope she is with you soon.

Thanks for all of your comments. You all seemed so please with your Coopers. Again, I love the pictures. And, hopefully, mine will be its way soon to my dealer. I'll send pictures when it arrives.

We hope to God your car is not like this at the VDC.

You don't want an extended stay at the VDC
