Does it fade?

I've not had my Cooper for very long, just over three months, but I am absolutely obssessed with it! I can't imagine this going away any time soon, probably never. Not that it's a bad thing, I rather enjoy it. I assume since you're reading here, you're in the same boat. Should I seek treatment or something? Is there a MINI patch like Nicoderm?

I've had mine almost three years now, and I still get that feeling.

If you think your experience is intense now, take that little car to a track or A/X and _really_ drive it

EDIT: Here is a view of me and the car in action

I must warn you, track time is a very, VERY dangerous and expensive thing...
addiction really.

its expensive b/c

a) you want to go all the time.

and

b) you want to go faster and make the experience better, and you slide down that slipper slope of modding more cornering power, less brake fade, more HP....

You know your addicted to the track when you fuel bill is higher than your food and lodging bill.

I'd like to get on the track. I'm not in too much danger from the mod bug. I drive a justacooper, after all. I'm very happy with the power of it, though. I'd like to see just what it's capable of. Any recommendations on tracks in the midwest? Missouri, preferably.

Famous last words

There is a track in St Louis - Gateway Int'l Raceway
You can look at youtube for in car video of the road course. Heartland Park is in Topeka, KS. Illinois has Blackhawk Farms and Autobahn CC, but just a little farther north (into Wisconsin) is Road America. Towards Indiananpolis is Putnam Park which is where that picture I linked to was taken. Many say that this is one of the safest tracks around, and quite fun as it is more about technique than high horsepower. I've only been on track there and at Mid-Ohio, so I can't really speak for any of the other places.

2 years now, Went to track this past sunday for first time. What an experience, and yes there are a lot of mods you can do to just a cooper. Now I just need a second job.

It's the only car I've ever owned that I never get bored with.
