I believe that when this first appeared 6 mo to a year ago, the head of PML said that they weren't planning at that time to produce a product yet, but wanted just to show what the technology can do...they wanted to retrofit a car that was small, little room under the hood (bonnet) and handled well...and they chose the MINI of course,,,then he said if someone wanted one, they could make one for them for $250,000.....but in that UTube video, it said they will soon put one on a test track....does that mean they have not yet road tested their gismo? Was that UTube video made recently?

Thanks for posting the video.
Super expensive, but nice to see the electric technology getting better and better.

"It goes just as fast in reverse as it can go forward."
A car going 150 in reverse. LOL that would be something to see

Thanks for posting the vid...first I've seen that. They did have this in C&D months back...they said the company needed a way to have a mechanical breaking system before it gets approved (currently, they use the electric motors to aid the breaking).

With the massive torque the motors create...only having two motors with mechanical breaks on the other two seems feasible. This would obviously give up the AWD, but the car would still have plenty of power.

I'm thinking this might actually be the way of the future.
