I get excited every time I see another MINI, too. I've caught myself waving to MINIs while riding my Schwinn!

 

I waved at 2 MINI's this week. Nuttin'. Of course I was in a Mustang, but still. One of them had nicely stopped to let me up the one lane street and I gave her a BIG wave. Nuttin' Sheesh. St Louisians can be sooo sullen. I will be trying to spot you all and waving my fool hands off when I get my MINI.

Perhaps a "Hang up and Wave" badge is needed.

 

I've been waving here and there, but I notice most people aren't even looking when I do. But I got two in two days now! Yesterday I passed another PW/B about a mile from my house. I waved out the window and they waved back as we passed. Today, I saw a PS cabrio on Rt 22 going east to my west. The woman behind the wheel was looking at me/my car as we passed, so I waved. She suddenly got a huge smile and waved back.

 

I wave. Little kids like to wave at the MINI.

 

Dogs wag their tails at MINIs/Minis.

 

Ok, well maybe not NO ONE but it's rare. There are so many MINIs out in L.A. that it's like Civic drivers waving to one another. Simply another car on the road. The only MINI drivers I wave to are the ones that are "modded" in some way....and of course the ones that wave to me first!

I'll give a nod to the "non-modded" if they are next to me at a light.
