Big Gig... Small Rig (Caution: Clown Content Follows!)

OK, maybe not....I'm the only clown in this post. My neighbors were laughing at me again as I loaded up for a dinner gig I have tonight with my buddies. We have a classic rock band (weekend warriors) and have a private party to play tonight at a local golf course clubhouse.

I usually would load up my Jeep Liberty for this but just had to try stuffing the Mini for goofs. Well the Mini had another surprise for me and gobbled up my entire bass rig and still had room for a bit more. My next-door neighbor couldn't resist a cheap shot as I was loading: "Hey don't forget to leave some room for the clowns!". He's an idiot....it's not his fault. :impatient I blame his parents.

How many square feet is in this thing with the seat down?

No kidding.....room to spare:

The car continues to amaze me. My band-mates are gonna raz me to no end after this!

And you need the Liberty why??
JK, great photos. I've been amazed at the amounts I can stuff into El Kabong and have almost given up driving our truck.

All y'all would be stunned to see how much I pack into Wanda every spring for the cross-country adventure! MINIs are like Felix the Cat's magic bag!

That's amazing! The MINI is capable of storing quite a lot of stuff, if you pack it in right! Nice shot! Hope you enjoy many more experiences like this with your MINI! Motor On!

oh god, thats funny. i used to have to haul my drumset to gigs in my Mini. and i don't have a small drumset...its a 26inch bass drum, 15inch racktom, 18inch and 20inch flootoms, a snare, 4 cymbals/hihats and a bunch of stands. It took some creative packing, but I somehow got it all to fit (i had one of the floor toms buckled in riding shotgun).

Next time your neighbor says "leave room for the clowns," why not respond with: "Don't worry, your mother will still fit!"
