How can I figure out if an used mini 06 has LSD?

Get the VIN # and call 1-866-ASK-MINI, they should be able to help you figure it out I think.

not sure about Mini Coopers, but on Honda's, they stamp L.S.D. on the transmission bell housing. maybe mini does the same thing

Take it hot into a tight curve on the test drive and see how it exit's- jsut kidding ! Run the VIN past Mini to get the info.

If you don't wanna make a phone call, jack up the front end and turn a tire. If the tire on the other side spins the same direction, it has a LSD. If it spins thge opposite way, its an open diff.
