Car show

I don't know if this is the right Thread to put this on but oh well, I went to a car event not really a show just people gathering at a local drive in called snapkas. Anyway there are many types of cars such as 1 Hennesy twin turbo viper (1700 hp) man that thing is so loud he rev'd to 9,000 rpms and set everyones car alarm off, lots of muscle cars with blowers, saleens, cobras, roadrunners, ls1 and ls2 gto's, etc and 1 mini cooper s jcw (me) . well as everyone leaves you burnout on the (local) street I was thinking what about the cops (GET THIS A COP AND HIS COP CAR DID THE MEANIST BURNOUT EVER I'M TALKING AT LEAST 80 FT) there are cars drag racing and cops just watching the most brutal thing ever as I'm leaving I hold my E-BRAKE redline dump the clutch and just leave the crowd in a cloud of smoke then I raced a chevy cobalt SS whooped his A$$ and the cops were just clapping went up to 120 MPH then I pulled in the parking lot and the cop goes "damn that little car is fast be careful" the speed limit of that road is 40 MPH i was doing 80 over it and he didn't do nothing but watch as did the viper raced a firebird with a crate motor with a huge blower, the viper won of course he had slicks on .

P.S. will post pics upon request

NAM does not promote illegal racing, or any type of excessive speeding.

Cops didn't care , and I think the road was closed for two miles and there was a detour around snapkas. the Viper topped out at 187 MPH ...... and a cop did a burnout in a police cruiser.....

If it was a sanctioned event with closed off side streets, concrete barriers, crowd control, then why not? Otherwise, this will be a fun thread to keep tabs on.

IBTIL! (before it is, got any good burnout videos?

This is why:

"...Authorities say pro drag racer Troy Critchley lost control of his dragster while performing an exhibition burnout -- spinning the car's back tires to send up clouds of smoke -- during a parade at the annual Cars for Kids charity event June 16. Besides the six killed, 23 were hospitalized..."
