I'm digging the "Twisty Sister" badge outlined in black - H.O.T.!

I also really like the diamond-shaped yellow/black caution sign - really creative and very authentic-looking design. I don't care much for the caution sign with the wings on the bottom, though. Something about the placement of the MINI wings between the "hips" of the curves just seems a little... suggestive? Either way, not for me. I prefer the badge with the text better!

Count me in when the times comes for print/sales.

Wow, there are some great badges coming along here! I can't wait to order some, there are definitely several designs I would like.

This peep one is too funny. I just imagine it on the grille of my MINI and have to laugh a little to myself.

Ummm, I have nothng against pink but it clashes with DVLMINI's Chili Red suit. Can you offer #14 in other colors?

Hi, are badges # 9 and 11 metallic/chrome where they show up light gray here online? That's what I really want! Too bad you couldn't use the actual MINI logo - I think it looked best that way.

Also, will you be doing any of these as stickers rather than magnetic badges? I'd like the "Warning Twisty Sister Ahead" version as a sticker for the rear of my car. Thanks!!

We can't use the MINI logo because it isn't ours to use. Sorry about that. I will check on Tuesday to see if we can do metallic/chrome on badge #9 and #11 or if only a light gray is possible. I'm a fan of bling and would like to see it in metallic as opposed to a flat color, too.

Yes on stickers--thanx for asking! They will be in our e-boutique this week for pre-orders, too. Same free shipping offer applies, just grab the shipping discount code from the Vendor Announcement area.

As for special colors on a badge, that's definitely possible. If you have something in mind in a specific color, we can do it. Just drop me a line letting me know what you have in mind and we'll see what we can do to get it made for you!

Since you can't use the MINI wings logo, can you use just the word MINI in place of the wings outline? Maybe in a different font than the rest of the words so it would stand out. I'd like something like the letters you see used on varsity jackets, you know letters with a center color and then outlined with another color. In the case of #11 use a fairly heavy Black outline, and then white centers of the letters MINI on a chrome badge background where it is gray now. #12, same black/white colors with the yellow background. I hope this makes sense. If not, I can do one up with my trusty Sharpies! Thanks for your indulgence!

That's a gray area in trademark law. I'm sure that if you ask MINI's lawyers they will say that any use of the word MINI on non-licensed commercial products related to the MINI is prohibited.

But that's like asking a dog if he wants a biscuit!

Humm, I'm a tad confused. I understand your answer and the reasons behind it. I have my artworks copyrighted. However, several other of these badges use the word MINI. Why would this one be the exception? Thanks.

I'm not qualifed to give legal advice and I don't wish to hijack this thread for the ins and outs of Tradmark Law.

I had started another thread called Intellectual Property Rights but it got axed. I'll start another. Let's leave this thread to the MINI Chicks.

Just a reminder that pre-orders end on the 14th for grille badges. Thanx to all of you that placed orders already!

If you are interested in a sticker in any of the grille badge designs, please drop me an e-mail or PM and I'll send you a PayPal invoice. Stickers are $4.50 each and the same free shipping offer applies to pre-orders.
