Unfortunately my brain can't storm anything. I am too fried with work...of course I do deliver babies, you would think I could think of SOMETHING! I will think tonight whilst I am at work.

Oh and in case we are still thinking chicks..MINI Chix is a business and may not like using that phrasing.
At MOTD, the ladies running the booth said that they had to change their name to Motoring Chix per a letter from MINI legal...

that's an excellent one. By adding "the"...it knocks out the reference to the excercise chain.
good on ya, o4.

unfortunately, not the 1st time this has happened...just ask Mark and several vendors on NAM. Corporate is fierce about protecting the brand.

There are some curves the Mini just cannot straighten out.

I ran off and left my 'doodling' at the office. ARRRRRRGGGHHHH!! And the Wife unit and I are packing for a trip to Austin this weekend. I'll have something for you guys in the morning. Really sorry about that.

Did anyone post "Real Women Love Curves" yet?

DVLMINI put together a nice badge for me earlier today... I'm wondering why it's not posted here yet...

The choice to use Motor, not Mini, in our name was ours, no nudge.

That said, I really appreciate the respect y'all have given us in not using our Chix spelling on swag that isn't offered in our boutique. There is an amazing community of folks here on NAM!

Thanks to the overwhelming support already extended to us, much new Chix gear, including badges, is on the way. Some of it isn't even Pink.

Yeah, that's an old fight. They really didn't have to do that, but they indimidate you with D.C. lawers. Cases in point: Check the vendors directory.

I hope they didn't give up the URL.

Nicely put. It's tough to make a name for yourself and your business only to see it flying around without your permission.
MINI SWAG is TM BTW.

You just need to decide:
1. Wings on the colllar button?
2. Text? What?

I can offer it in silver metallic and several MINI matching colors.
I like this and will go ahead with it.
Ooooh....silver metallic sounds great for every MINI's color combo! ME LIKEEEEE! Maybe stylized wings on the collar, so as not to violate the "official" logo...

Skurvy sent me an idea and I played with it a bit.

Not that you should have 2 "tag lines" in there but just options in a quick piece of vector art. I do like the W.O.W. idea though...

I see a whole batch of designs that would be great for you and will work on them independently as well as take any suggestions that you have. We all have different tastes and believe me I've spent the last 4 years learning that .

The MINI wings for sig badges and such are okay. I can't produce that for sale (although others do, who will remain nameless). But really,
if the badge is on your grille, they know it's a MINI and there's a wings badge right above it.

No problem at all. Colors are changing as I was working under a misconception about the number of colors.

I have a couple of different styles in mind. Stuff like this never universally appeals to all people. So, if this one does not float your boat, maybe one of the others will.

I'm not wild about "Women on Wheels" It makes me think of some freaky carnival sideshow. Step inside, step inside if you dare & see these freaks of nature so heinous that we could not display them in public. These women were not born with feet they have wheels & don't even get me started on what images the word Queens conjures up

Maybe put the "Twisty Sisters" there instead of "Women on Wheels"? It works with the "twisty" road...

Female Symbol/Twistie Sisters

If you wanted to incorporate the female symbol into a grille badge with a "Twistie Sisters" theme, maybe you could use the MINI wings as a starting point. The circle portion of the wings could double as the circle portion of the female symbol. The long, extending portion of the female symbol could be a twistie road, with the cross point as a short, straight intersecting street (maybe?). "Twistie Sisters" could be an arc-like border along the edge. (I liked that look in the other badge pic.)

Maybe too much detail there to really get the point across. ...Just a thought.

Actually, I am a bit ahead of you on that concept PenelopeCooper. It is an elemental design rather than a static design. I am trying to have it done before I haul off to Austin this afternoon.

MINI skirts

Hey all,
I thought it was about time I introduced myself, I have an all-girl MINI rally club called the MINI Skirts.
So far we're based out of Los Angeles, but I'm taking it global in the next year.
Keep your ears peeled!
Aloha
