Can you set a speed limit exceeded warning?

I've gone through my dog-eared owners manual until I'm blue in the face but can't find where one can set a speed limit exceeded warning. Page 126 refers to a LIMIT indicator...but I can't seem to find any other reference to it...

My quick search through NAM yielded zip as well...

If someone knows, thanks in advance...John 2007 MCS

I read ya'...but sometimes I hit (insert a rediculous speed here) just accelerating when passing some old codger crawling at 45mph in a 55 zone. It would be nice to hear a bell ding when I approach 70...

That would be a pretty cool driving aid. Especially when I'm zooming a bit overly happy on an Interstate Hwy.

I can't speak for the R56. On the 1st gen MINI a speed limit warning is available only with the factory Nav system.

It is set in the On-Board Computer settings. If set, the value also appears at the bottom of the Nav map.

NAV, aha...I see. You may be on to something. I don't have NAV, so maybe that's why I can't find a setting for it...thanks. You probably hit the nail on the head...
