Service schedule and costs

Hi,
Before buying this little gem of a car (2007), can anyone offer up the service schedule and the costs of them, please? Also, as the car gets along in miles, how much am I looking at to keep 'er for the long haul - ie, the deeper services like timing belt and stuff like that?
Thank you,
olcorral.

I'm trying not to think about it. Falling in love at first drive did that to me. Rationality just sort of faded away.

I believe you can get the manual in pdf form in the MiniUSA Owner's Lounge (otherwise someone posted it here a while back). There should be a maintenance schedule in there.

Also, the Minis come with a 3 year (36k mi) maintenance warranty through which all scheduled maintenance is covered.

I don't have my MINI yet, so I really can't answer. But I do know that if you go to www.edmunds.com you can search there for what they call "True Cost to Own" ... they even break it down into average cost per mile, and you can compare against other cars too.

When I saw and fell in love with my MINI, I didn't even think about service maintance...something that I would always ask about my other cars.

Same here I did my test drive, that was it. Never even asked about maintenance. When I get home I will be asking my local dealer about oil change. Car was bought in New York fre service was handled there. But had do be done at BMW, guys there wanted to charge me $55 to rotate tires, told me I could damage abs sensor if I did it myself. New then I would not be bringing the car back to them. Hendrick in charlotte seem like good people so far will probably give them a shot
