For the Non-OCDers
I realize that this may result in my being hanged in effigy, if not in reality, by some, but for those of us who are not inclined to invest in $300 worth of car cleaning products and/or 7 hour wash rituals, I was pleasantly surprised by Mr. Clean's Self-Drying auto wash system. We had spent the weekend in the Concoction Mountains, where my MINI was covered in road dust, tree sap and remnants of bugs. When we got home, I wanted to clean it off even though severe thunderstorms were coming. In our shed, I found the above mentioned car wash, which my step-son had bought prior to our shared existence. I didn't expect much. Surprise! It removed all the bugs, sap and dirt --- and dried spot-free. It took me about 15 minutes to wash the car. So, if you aren't OCD, or just don't have a lot of time, this product is well worth it.

After having spent 6-7 hours each day on Saturday and Sunday washing the car, claybarring (the entire car) and waxing, and a few other small detailing chores, I have to say BRING IT ON!!
I can definitely see a use for the occasional "quick wash and get on with your life" plan. Actually, the washing and drying isn't so bad. Let me know if you find a similar product for the waxing part, though.
Any time you want to stop over and do it, I'll let you.

I had one of the Mr Clean car wash thingys and I have to admit I did initially like the results.
However, after it leaked the soap out and onto my other car care products, I became less impressed.
I’m happier with results I’m getting with the Zaino products, so I recently pitched the Mr. Clean.
Just my 2 cents.
