Gorgeous flaco! I have put that combo (plus black bonnet stripes) through the configurator quite a few times, but always wondered how the JCW aero kit would actually look. Beautiful.

Thanks for the nice compliment. I had the stripes on mine but took them off after I installed the JCW kit. There are a couple of photos in my gallery which will give you an idea of the look of the stripes with this color. I just like the cleaner look without them. The factory stipes also have a white pinstripe on either side which doesn't really fit with the car's predominant black trim. I am also getting rid of some of the chrome. Hope you enjoy your car!

VERY nice. Generally I'm not the biggest fan of SS/W (my first MINI was SS/B so I'm biased ) but that is one sharp MINI!

I think you can just copy and paste it from one of my posts.

Thanks ChopperAce, got the graphic.

valk009 - go back to page 2 of this string and there is a SS/White roof badge. Just copy the graphic into Fireworks of similar graphic program.

Winston here

Ok I just got my ss mcs with 1000 miles on it and love it. I got the logo from z3bum,thanks. Already getting questions about Winston. Not only is this a great car and lots of fun to drive, and I never have to wash it. My local dealer, on my way to work, will wash the car for the life of the car. I keep my cars.

I just ordered my first MCS SS with the tan leather. Anyone else out there with the tan leather? I have to wait until January, unfortunately. When I went to the dealer and saw all the colors, the SS was the one that really caught my eye. I'll post a pic when I get it.

Woohoo, I didn't find this thread until it popped back up at the top! Glad to see there are some appreciative SS owners out there. I picked up my SS/SS (not seeing many with that color combo yet??) a couple weeks ago now and he's been a blast. He's just the regular Cooper but I got him as much for the fuel economy as the fun ride - but despite his gas sipping nature, he gets up and goes whenever asked!

Interestingly, I originally was dead set on either LB or BRG and didn't really care for the SS. But upon seeing Nicodemus on the showroom floor in all his glory, my mind was changed quickly.

Anyway, just wanted to add my $0.02 to the group. Great pictures everyone!

Coop with a view

Slightly different lighting - people were saying that SS didn't really fit this color and I completely agree. Mood Ring anyone?

Definitely yes, add stripes. My car, when it gets here, will have the sport stripes put on at the VDC (along with the JCW aero kit) and I know its going to look hot. BTW, love the wheels, they look a lot like what I have on the '05.

SS with tan leather and anthracite?

Just curious if anthracite is the way to go with the SS/B and tan leather. I'm trying to imagine the standard grey and I'm not sure. Suggestions?

I like how the anthracite looks, and I think it would look better to have black and tan (sounds like a Harp's and a Guinness!) then gray and tan. But that's just my 2 cents.

My wait is nearing its end; the boat is now in the Gulf of Panama and should be in port on 12/9, and I'm hoping it'll be ready for pickup within a week or so after that. So maybe just 2 more weeks. Yay!

Thanks for posting those great pictures of SS/SS. That the same color combo I ordered and it's nice to see it at so many angles. I'm glad I chose it! Mine's an MCS, so it'll look slightly different.
