I know what you what you are saying about the clouds. I am in Los Angeles and it is not pretty. My car is definitely not sparkling

Your MINI looks very happy in your pretty yard.

I was tempted by the red interior myself.

Are those aftermarket wheels? If so, what kind, and are they black or some form of gray?

They are MOMO Corse 17" 7 spoke "split spoke" and they are gray inside and bright aluminum trim at tire.

Those wheels look gr8 and so does your MINI! Hmmm... now I'm wishing I had gotten the driving lights; the more MINIs I see with them, the more I love the look that gives to their "faces".

Don't let them talk you out of it. It's sturdy, solid and well made. I got lots of flack about it being too small and I'd get crushed in an accident. Odds are the same if I was driving something else, so enjoy it - the "S" version is a BMW Z4 in disguise...I used to have that car, and this one handles as well, even the speed and cornering, but with lots more cargo room...I had to change from the Z4 cause my husband didn't fit in that one and this one has all the leg room he needs.

Well, i did it, just got home from ordering my MCS - Sparkling Silver convertable, now what do i do until Mid July??

Not only did my husband not talk me out of it - but he talked me into the S. I was going to get the Cooper because the premium gas, but now I have gone all the way!

Let me into the club!!!

My SS MC is being built...just ordered today - black roof ,mirrors and bonnet stripes ....and I'm curious if anyone has tinted their windows to 15% and 20%....I currently have 20% on my old car and am debating 15% on this one....(I know I have 8 weeks before she arrives but I've caught the Mini Fever here...)...so if anyone has a pic at either 15% or 20% so I can try to compare before having the car tinted that would be appreciated!

Thanks.

I tried to upload a pic of my car with 20% but it didn't work...I will say though, with the factory tint the car is at 14% now...and is pretty dark. For my area, it is dark enough that I worry about cops noticing it or at the least definitely mentioning it if I were ever to be pulled over for something else.

Like Jim, I've had my Sparkling Silver Convertible S for about 3 weeks. Makes for a good companion to my Classic Mini.

6 Weeks! I haven't driven mine for a week (out of town biz trip) and am already having seperation anxiety, can't imagine 6 weeks!!! But there is light at the end of the tunnel, and it'll be in your hands in time for some great motoring weather.

I didn't realize that they came pre-tinted...my father has a 06 MC and I don't recall his being pre-tinted before I put 20% on it for him.....he has a PW MC and the 20% is just a tad light for me I think.

Hi everyone

I'm from Dublin, Ireland and ordered my sparkling silver Cooper a few weeks ago. I'm supposed to be getting it on July 1st :D I can't wait!

I'm having a few worries about the colour as there's not many in Ireland at all and I've either seen really nice ones or very not-so-nice ones! I really want mine to be lovely!

I've ordered the black roof, Chilli pack (which includes 16" alloys, cream half leather seats, air con, etc.), colour line cream white, piano black on the dash, chrome line interior, bluetooth, etc. I can't wait, it's just too far away!!!

I ordered mine last week... dealer says it's gonna take 6 weeks, so end of June?? I can't wait!!

BTW, it's MCS hardtop, SS with matching top and mirrors, 6-speed with sports suspension, LSD, Xenon HIDs, and M/F leather wheel. I didn't go too crazy with other options.

I know what you mean, i have seen some really beautiful colors and the Sparkling Silver is my favorite. but when i went to the dealership, the one on the lot was dirty and i didn't like SS dirty- seems to change the color. I have your concerns.
