Team Justacooper
I tell ya I've got it tough...3 of our local autox drivers (non Mini) took first at Ntls in CSP, DSP & XP classes. This is exactly why my pax scores are not closer to 1000. We've got Ntln champs all over the place here, there is one good way of looking at it though, lots of great talent to learn from.
Just wondering, do the classes vary by region for BMW autocross? I finally tried a couple of events with my cooper. I have a 19mm rear sway bar and wider tires/rims than stock but I competed in D. D for my region is 87 to 103.5 points and I am at 95 points, well within D.
Not that classes matter for me at this point as I am right near if not at the bottom of the standings. Doesn't matter though as I am having fun and learning allot.

Well count me in. I have been looking for a while now and found it right under my nose. I have had my 07 Cooper for almost two years now and I finally found a place for Mods. Thanks to you for helping me to support my habit.
I should join.
We have both an MC and an MCS, so I'm a little hesitant. The first time we did a track day we took the MCS (R53 in those days), and thought I'd like to try it again in the MC instead. I thought I could keep up with the MCSs, that was when we had an R50.
We finally did a couple of track days last year and took the MC (R56 this time) to both of them. I was finding that it was supposedly faster cars in front of me which were getting in the way. Unfortunatly in a Justacooper you need cooperation from them when the passing zones are only on the straights. The track days are supposed to be non-competitive, but its gratifying to catch "faster" cars.
After the last track day I was thinking it'd be fun to try it in the MCS (also an R56 these days), so that's what we're taking next week we have another track day. The Justacooper does tend to run out of go at the end of a longstraight, the MCS should still have some life left. Both MINIs are stock apart from the tires.
Here some video from the last track day:

I have more details about the track days in the thread I started about it: https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...the-track.html

I thought the MINI ones had different suspensions. I've driven a MINI one once, it did seem to have more body roll, but I didn't get much of a chance to push it very much.
Please count me in and add me to the list. Love to join the club. I have a 2008 Pepper White base, black suspender bonnet stripes, checkered mirrors (3), sport steering wheel and fluid silver interior. Its a blast. Talk to you all soon.
If you opt for the sport suspension on the Justa, suspensions would be identical. I have both a Justa and an S, but I haven't brought the Coop to the track, just the S. I love 'em both.
Both our Justacooper and S have the sport suspension, the S is stiffer.
