For me, this works the best because the CBS coverage is too frustrating. I would much rather wait and get the awesome Speed coverage.

Imola is awesome . . . I highly recommend it . . . such a historic venue . . . beautiful . . . so close to Maranello . . . and who couldn't love Emilia Romagna.
Hoping to make Indy for the first (and perhaps last) time this year, too.
Really on the fence about best seating for Monza . . . the inside of the first chicane looks promising . . . right on top of the traffic jam into the first corner, then they accelerate around the Curva Grande . . . however, outside the apex of the entry into Ascari looks good too.

I've never been to Monza but I would think the seats on the inside at the first chicane would only give you a good view of the chicane itself as the trees on the infield would obscure the cars accelerating towards Curva Grande in which case the seats on the outside coming into turn one might give you a larger view. However, unless one has been to the track recently, you can never know for sure what perspective you'll actually find once you see it first hand.
Serious issues with my cable company this morning...they switched their internal system and we lost digital here last week, called cable company and they said..."We now have to come to your home and make some alterations to your system. We're not doing this until the customer calls to complain." OK, we complained, cable guy spent two hours at our house yesterday, inside and out, bucket truck up the pole, and we had SPEED after he left...this morning, a blank screen...seriously pi$$ed here.
Please tell me it's a boring race...
Meh...

great race because Schumi won
Classic Schumi victory via pitstop strategy. We need some wheel to wheel passing between he and Alonso for real excitment, huh?
also this race proves that Ferarri is back
with Massa finishing third
or at least Bridgestone is back
what the hell is Fisi doing
not even challenging for victory
McLaren was also a disappointment overall
Let's hope it's Schumi vs Alonso all year long

If only McLaren could get their act together and give Kimi a car worthy of his skill . . . then we'd have a three way fight at the front!

personally, i'd love to see mclaren keep kimi and have he and fernando duke it out.
I for one can't see both Schumi and Kimi as co-"1"s. First of all, the entire friggin Scuderia Ferrari is built around Herr Weltmeister. Ross Brawn and Jean Todt aren't gonna loosen the reigns to some newcomer as long as Schumi is still capable of winning the driver's championship, just look back to 1999 and Eddie Irvine's brief run at stardom when Michael was out with a broken leg; kinda makes you go, hmmmm. No if Kimi arrives next year, it would only be with a Senior Schumacher in a Mentor position.

...course I missed the live broadcast yesterday, so if they are saying they know something that the rest of the F1 press doesn't, then so be it.
Incidently, SPEED reappeared at 10:15 am EDT yesterday, 15 minutes after the coverage was over.
Sorry to chime in a little late here, but the race yesterday was good. I'm very happy with the result, but it was not too exciting! All in all, good race. I'm glad that we have TIVO for the European races...
Also happy that the race was back on Speed...

Did everyone else have the feeling that MSchu knew exactly how this race would turn out from the moment the lights went out and Alonso took the lead?
I figured Alonso's don't-call-it-launch-control would get him out to the early lead, and he would just run off into the distance from there. Once he couldn't pull away, MSchu was perfectly content to sit behind him until the pit stops, and then he and Ross Braun would play their cards. Anyone who thinks MSchu is washed up need only look at what he did for those 3 laps after Alonso's 2nd stop to see that he is still a masterful driver.
What was interesting was Massa's ability to hang around in third. That tells me that Ferrari has a very strong car (and tires, thankfully that war is ending after this year) that can compete with Renault.
Let's not forget about Rosberg - a great drive from 22nd into the points. Granted the attrition helped, but he made the most of it.
